This is us. 3 years ago it was just the two of us. Now there are five and we need a lot more space. We have hunted for a long time to find a house that is right for our family and were blessed to find a block in a really lovely neighbourhood in the upper North Shore of Sydney. We purchased it in June 2014.
Knock down rebuild sites are so hard to come by and we found this one off the market, occupied by a cranky old man with a hoarding problem and over 120 cockatoos who had merrily chewed through the wiring. With lovely neighbours, a National Park at the end of the street, great schools and close to everything we knew this was the right place for us to call home.
We spent our weekends throughout July, August and September getting inspired at the display homes with our toddlers in toe, ordering (too many!) tenders with builders and we raced the clock to lock in a contract before baby number 3 arrived.
